Kent Pleasants, a tax Director in the Lexington office, has 38 years of experience in accounting. He formerly served with an international accounting firm and then as a director of SEC reporting for a public company. After that, he became a partner of a Lexington-based public accounting firm in 1986. He has clients in a wide variety of industries but focuses his practice on closely-held businesses and their owners as well as personal income tax and planning. He has served on the board of directors of a number of nonprofit organizations and currently serves on the boards of the Bluegrass Trust for Historic Preservation, Inc., #WeAreKY!, Inc. and Derby Celebration, Inc.
