The due date for Forms 1099 is fast approaching.
Forms 1099 are due no later than Monday, January 31, 2022. In order to assure that your Forms 1099 are timely filed we ask that you get the information to us no later than Monday, January 24, 2022, to allow for unexpected delays in filing.
In order to file complete and accurate forms we will need the name, address, social security/employer identification number and amount paid to each qualifying recipient. In an effort to keep our fees to a minimum, we ask that you check to ensure that all required information is included before you submit your records. Please be advised significant penalties can be assessed for failure to file correct Forms 1099.
If you find that you are missing any of the necessary information, you should request the recipient complete Form W-9 – Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification. We have enclosed a copy of this form for your convenience.
