IHIMA Selects Blue & Co., LLC Senior Consultant as President-Elect

INDIANAPOLIS (May 5, 2017) – Blue & Co., LLC is proud to announce that Lynette Thom, senior consultant, has been selected as the President-Elect for the Indiana Health Information Management Association (IHIMA).

IHIMA members elected Thom, Blue & Co. senior consultant on the Indianapolis Revenue Cycle team, into a three-year position as President-Elect. Thom has 18 years of experience in the field of healthcare. She is a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration from Concordia University.

As President-Elect, Thom will chair the Strategic Planning Committee and serve as a delegate, where she is responsible for communicating IHIMA and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) information to regional association members, as well as listening to these members to allow the exchange of grassroots information with the Executive Board and AHIMA through the House of Delegates. A goal for the President-Elect is to form alliances with other Health Information Management organizations, among other active duties as a member of the IHIMA Board of Directors.
