Blue Named a 2023 Best Employers in Ohio

CARMEL, Ind. (June 12, 2023) – Blue & Co., LLC is honored to announce that it has been ranked as one of the 2023 Best Employers in Ohio by Best Companies Group. This designation is held in partnership with Crain’s Cleveland Business and Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland and marks the 13th year Blue & Co. has made the list.

“At Blue & Co., we recognize that our growth is directly tied to our people and their ability to thrive in our organization,” said Brad Shaw, managing director. “That is why this recognition is so critical. We want to create an environment where our employees can truly succeed and that means making sure we are constantly improving our employee experience.”

To be considered for Best Employers in Ohio, companies had to participate in a two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.

“In today’s marketplace, having a strong culture, employee experience and Total Rewards plan is essential to recruiting and retaining the best talent,” said Chad Pfeifer, chief people officer at Blue & Co. “Winning the Best Places to Work award gives us an opportunity to pause and reflect on our rich culture while also allowing us opportunities for improvements.”

This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.
