Blue & Co., LLC Appoints New Leaders to Head Key Niches and Service Lines

CARMEL, Ind. (December 17, 2025) – Blue & Co., LLC is proud to announce the appointment of five firm leaders to head key industry niches and service lines, strengthening the firm’s strategic focus and deepening its ability to serve clients with specialized expertise.

“As our clients face increasingly complex challenges, specialized leadership has never been more important,” Brad Shaw, managing director of Blue & Co. said, “Their experience, vision, and commitment to client service will help drive our continued growth and ensure we remain a trusted advisor to the clients we serve.”

These new leaders include:

  • Shannon Borden, CPA, has been named the industry team leader for Not-for-Profit.
  • Mike Fleetwood, CPA, has been named the service line leader for Audit and Assurance.
  • Eric Jaske, CPA, CEPA, has been named the industry team leader for Construction.
  • Brad Minor, CPA/ABV/CFF, ASA, CVA, CMEA, CM&AA, has been named the service line leader for Business Valuation.
  • Dale Skaggs, CPA, has been named the industry leader for Healthcare.

Shannon Borden has 26 years of public accounting experience with deep expertise in serving 100s of nonprofit organizations, including community foundations and other philanthropic entities. She leads the firm’s Not-For-Profit Services Group and is a member of the Audit, Accounting and Quality Control Committee. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Borden is actively engaged in the nonprofit community, serving as President of the Blue & Co. Foundation, and formerly serving as a six-year board member of the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance where she still continues to serve on the finance committee.

Mike Fleetwood has more than 35 years of experience in public accounting and serves as Director-in-Charge of the firm’s Southern Indiana practice, which includes offices in Bedford, Bloomington, Columbus, and Seymour, Indiana. He has served as a member of the firm’s Audit, Accounting and Quality Control Committee for almost 30 years, including serving as its chairperson for almost 20 years. Fleetwood specializes in serving agricultural cooperatives, grain elevators, and related entities in the agricultural sector. He also serves closely held businesses across the construction, manufacturing, retail, and wholesale sectors. Fleetwood is a graduate of Indiana University and has held numerous community leadership roles throughout Southern Indiana. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives.

Eric Jaske has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. He has extensive experience serving construction, contractor, and real estate organizations and has been an active member of the firm’s Construction niche group for many years, providing specialized tax and advisory guidance to support client growth. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ball State University and is a member of the Indiana Subcontractors Association, the Surety Association of Indiana, the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Brad Minor has more than 35 years of public accounting experience and has led the firm’s Valuation and Financial Forensics Group since 1999. Elected Director in 2008, he specializes in business valuations, financial forensics, litigation support, and tax consulting for closely held businesses and individuals. Minor earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and holds numerous professional credentials, including CPA, CVA, ASA, ABV, CFF, CMEA, and CM&AA. He has presented and published extensively on business valuation topics at the national level and is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Accountants Global Network, the Institute of Business Appraisers, the American College of Forensic Examiners, the ESOP Association, the Hoosier Hills Estate Planning Council, and the Evansville Estate and Financial Planning Council.

Dale Skaggs has more than 30 years of accounting and consulting experience and serves as Director-in-Charge of the firm’s Louisville market. He currently leads the firm’s Healthcare practice and brings extensive experience serving a wide range of healthcare organizations, from independent physician practices to complex, multi-facility healthcare systems. Skaggs is an honors graduate of Ball State University, an active member of several professional organizations including the Kentucky CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and currently serves on the boards of Junior Achievement of Kentucky and Home of the Innocents’ finance committee.

These leaders join Sara Jacobi, who was named the firm’s Director of Taxation, in February 2025.
