Ruben Ramirez is a Director in Blue & Co.’s Detroit office, where he serves as a key member of
the firm’s Manufacturing Services Leadership Team. He works closely with manufacturers and
distributors to navigate industry-specific financial and operational challenges, providing insights
that help businesses strengthen their position and plan for long-term success.

In addition to his work with manufacturing clients, Ruben has extensive experience advising
closely held businesses and their owners through the complexities of sell-side M&A
transactions, ESOPs, and succession planning. As a Blue Value Advisor, he specializes in deal
structuring, tax efficiency, due diligence preparation, and post-sale wealth planning, ensuring
clients are well-positioned to protect their legacy and maximize value during a business
transition.

Ruben holds a bachelor’s in business finance from Wayne State University and a Master of
Science in finance from Walsh College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with
specialized credentials as an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Personal Financial
Specialist (PFS). He holds the designation of Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) from the
Exit Planning Institute. As an active member of the Michigan Society of CPAs, Ruben is
committed to providing business owners with the expertise and clarity needed for their most
important financial decisions.
