COLUMBUS, Ohio. (July 1, 2025) – Blue & Co., LLC and Blue Benefits Consulting, Inc. are delighted to share that M. Jane Shawver, QKC, QKA, has been named President of Blue Benefits Consulting.

Shawver has been with Blue Benefits Consulting since April 2008. Most recently, she served as a senior manager where she played a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, servicing clients, and supporting strategic initiatives across the team. Shawver’s long-standing collaboration with senior leadership, along with her deep understanding of Blue Benefits Consulting’s culture, positions her well to lead the team while continuing to deliver the personalized service the firm is known for.
“Stepping into the role of President of Blue Benefits Consulting fills me with both excitement and a deep sense of responsibility,” Shawver said, “I have always been passionate about serving our clients and empowering our team. I see this transition as an opportunity to build upon the impressive legacy that Mickie Murphy leaves behind, keeping BBC as a major player in the TPA industry while maintaining the atmosphere and service of a small boutique shop.”
Shawver studied at The Ohio State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She is certified by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries as a Qualified 401(k) Administrator, and Qualified 401(k) Consultant.
Prior to joining our team, Shawver was a plan administrator at another local Columbus firm and a benefits specialist at Huntington Trust.
Shawver replaces Mickie Murphy as President. Murphy served in this role since 2022.
