Blue & Co., LLC partially acquires Stuedle, Spears, & Company PSC

Louisville, KY (November 5, 2021) – The accounting and consulting firms of Stuedle, Spears, & Company PSC (Louisville) and Blue & Co., LLC have announced their partial acquisition, effective January 1, 2022.

This acquisition will provide Blue & Co., LLC with increased market share in the Louisville area, while acquiring additional personnel to focus on complementary service areas and niche industry markets.

Stuedle, Spears, & Company PSC’s Partner M. Kristin Stuedle and Principal Joseph A. Stuedle will join Blue & Co. in the Blue & Co. Louisville office.

Kristin and Joe Stuedle have more than 75 years of combined public accounting experience as tax consultants. Joe started a public accounting firm nearly 50 years ago with his late wife, Mary. Kristin worked for three Fortune 500 companies before joining the firm in 1999 where she ultimately acted as the managing partner.

The Stuedles provide consulting and tax compliance services to pass-through entities, trusts and individuals. Both have significant experience serving businesses in a wide range of industries and focus their practice on closely-held businesses as well as personal income tax and planning.

Rates may vary. Any potential change will be evaluated in the future on a client-by-client basis.

Employees who will be coming over in the partial merger will begin working alongside their Blue & Co. team in the Louisville, KY office effective January 3, 2022.
