Blue & Co., LLC Named to the Best Employers in Ohio List

CARMEL, Ind. (August 5, 2021) – Blue & Co., LLC is honored to announce that it has been named one of the 2021 Best Employers in Ohio by Best Companies Group. This designation is held in partnership with Crain’s Cleveland Business and Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland and marks the 11th year Blue & Co. has made the list.

“We are so excited to be recognized as one of the Best Employers in Ohio,” said Brad Shaw, managing director. “This makes us three for three this year, as we were previously named Best Places to Work in Indiana and Kentucky. It is a great honor and one that we strive each day to achieve.”

To be considered for Best Employers in Ohio, companies had to participate in a two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.

“Being named one of the Best Employers in Ohio is based on the responses and feedback provided by our firm’s employees on how they view and describe the culture at Blue,” said Chris Olson, chief operations officer at Blue & Co. “That feedback is critical to our ability to constantly look for opportunities to improve our organization and it allows us to create better career opportunities and experiences for staff members.”

This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.

Rankings for Best Employers in Ohio were unveiled in a special publication by Crain’s Cleveland Business on June 28. For more information regarding the Best Employers in Ohio program, visit www.bestemployersoh.com.
