Mr. Rees has extensive experience assisting healthcare clients with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues. He has assisted over 300 hospitals obtain appropriate reimbursement in excess of $100 million. He is a leading authority on reimbursement related to cost reports, appeals, intermediary relationships and revenue projections. Prior to Blue & Co., Mr. Rees was with St. Joseph Hospital and Healthcare Center in Kokomo, Indiana as its Manager of Cost Accounting and Reimbursement. He also spent over five years with the Indiana fiscal intermediary auditing Medicare/Medicaid cost reports. Mr. Rees earned a BS Degree in Accounting from Indiana University and was honorably discharged from the United States Army Reserve. |
