Jim is the Director in Charge of the firm’s Columbus, Indiana office. In that capacity he assists mostly closely held enterprises with tax and financial advisory services. His specific areas of practice include business mergers, acquisitions and disposals, estate planning and flow-through entities. Jim has nearly 30 years of experience in public accounting, the last half of which he has spent in Columbus. During that time the office has nearly tripled in size.

Jim is heavily involved in the Columbus community, having served on the board, usually in an officer capacity, of numerous not-for-profit endeavors. Included among these (past and present) are Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County, United Way of Bartholomew County, Hospice of South Central Indiana and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
