Mr. Abel has over 30 years experience with Blue & Co. and is Director of Tax & Business Services in the Columbus, Indiana office. During Don’s tenure with Blue & Co. he has served as Director in Charge of an audit, accounting, and tax practice with the primary responsibility of providing tax and business planning to closely held businesses. He has always had the desire to work directly with clients to find the most effective and efficient solution to any given situation. Don’s current focus is managing the tax and business service department for the Columbus practice unit. Additionally, Don has consistently valued the importance of giving of oneself to improve the community and to assist in improving the lives of those less fortunate. He spends significant time serving the community through organizations which include serving in Board officer roles for a premier youth organization, for Su Casa Columbus, as a Kiwanis service club officer, and as a board member of Red Cross Bartholomew County.
