Mr. Byers has extensive experience involving Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues. He is a leading authority on the preparation and re-opening of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports and the development and resolution of administrative and technical appeals. Grant also works with hospitals to obtain appropriate reimbursement and to implement operational and financial systems that improve financial performance and comply with payment systems.

Mr. Byers’ experience also includes financial feasibility studies, cost accounting implementation, managed care contract analysis, hospital budgeting and rate analysis, bond issuance and cash flow budgeting. He earned a BS Degree in Accounting from Indiana University. Mr. Byers is a member of the Indiana Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
